Executive Assistant
Kaipara District Council
Based in Mangawhai or Dargaville, with work from home options
This is an opportunity to step into a trusted Executive Assistant role supporting two General Managers, at the centre of organisational activity.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, ensuring their time, priorities and communications are managed effectively. This is a role for someone who anticipates needs, exercises sound judgement and brings structure to a fast-paced environment.
The opportunity
You will provide end to end executive support across a broad range of activities. This includes:
- Managing complex diaries, meetings and competing priorities
- Coordinating inboxes and preparing correspondence
- Drafting presentations, reports and business documentation
- Preparing agendas, taking minutes and following through on actions
- Supporting complaint and enquiry responses with well-considered information
- Coordinating travel, events and logistics
- Assisting with financial administration, including budget monitoring and reporting

What we're looking for
- 4+ years' experience in a similar executive support role
- Extensive administration and Microsoft Office suite skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
