Administrator - Building Compliance

Play your part in ensuring public safety as part of our Building Compliance team.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our nimble and dedicated team. This team plays a key role in inspecting dangerous and insanitary buildings, checking swimming pool fencing, and auditing buildings under the Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) regime.
About the role
As Administrator - Building Compliance, you will work alongside another administrator to support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and maintaining records, systems, and databases relating to BWOFs and audits, swimming pool licences and inspections, Notices to Fix, and Dangerous Building Notices
- Preparing and processing invoices and refunds related to these activities
- Reviewing and responding to correspondence relating to Territorial Authority matters
- Providing broader administrative support to the team
About you
You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working across teams and stakeholders to keep things running efficiently. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities and maintaining high attention to detail. You will also:
- Bring a background in administration, along with strong customer service skills
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Be confident using systems and technology, with a keen eye for detail
