DIALOG Fitzroy is seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Tendering and Bid Lead to take ownership of our bid and tendering process. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled proposal professional who thrives on leading cross-functional teams, developing winning strategies, and delivering high-quality submissions that support business growth.

About the Role

You will play a critical role in converting qualified opportunities into profitable work and ensuring the business maintains a strong pipeline of future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end tender process, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and competitive bids.
• Develop winning proposal strategies and compelling customer-focused submissions that clearly demonstrate DIALOG Fitzroy's capabilities and value.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and technical specialists to develop pricing, methodologies, project plans, and commercial responses.
• Manage tender governance processes, ensuring contractual, commercial, operational, and delivery risks are reviewed and addressed.
• Monitor tender performance, customer feedback, and lessons learned to continually improve bid quality and success rates.
• Own and manage the CRM system, maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, reporting, and lead management processes.
• Support business growth by analysing market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and pipeline data to improve lead conversion and tender outcomes.
• Maintain proposal resources, templates, capability statements, and supporting business development content.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance by promoting a strong safety culture and supporting company HSE initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in tendering, bid management, proposal writing, business development, or a related field.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional written communication and document development capabilities.
• Experience working with CRM systems and opportunity pipeline management.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to understand contractual and operational requirements.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience in engineering, construction, energy, industrial services, maintenance, or infrastructure sectors would be highly regarded.
