Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Help deliver the infrastructure projects that shape Kaipara's future.

This is an opportunity to be part of a team delivering infrastructure projects that make a real difference across the district. As Infrastructure Project Coordinator, you'll provide the coordination and project support that sits behind successful project delivery, helping ensure project information, budgets, reporting, contracts and documentation are accurate and up to date. Working alongside Project Managers and a range of stakeholders, you'll play an important role in supporting projects from planning through to completion

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Project Delivery, you'll provide project coordination and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. From financial tracking and reporting to contract administration and document management, you'll play an important role in supporting successful project delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating project administration activities to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Managing project financial processes, including purchase orders, invoices, budget tracking, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintaining project documentation, contracts, approvals, records and key project registers.
  • Supporting project reporting, procurement activities, risk and issue tracking and contract administration.
  • Building strong working relationships with Project Managers and stakeholders to help keep projects progressing successfully.

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who enjoys organisation, thrives on accuracy and can confidently manage multiple priorities. You're proactive, collaborative and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • 1-2 years demonstrated comparable experience in project coordination and administration
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in other MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies
  • Strong numeracy skills and a solid grasp on budgeting concepts
  • A project management qualification (foundation) is preferred
