About the Role

This is a hands on engineering role where you'll be involved in delivering transportation and civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion while working closely with experienced engineers and project managers.

You'll gain exposure to a broad range of projects, develop your consulting skills, and build strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders. Experience with transportation and roading will be highly regarded, along with an eagerness to continue learning and growing within a consultancy environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering transportation and civil engineering design projects.
• Assisting with project delivery from planning through to completion, including design, programming and client coordination.
• Building positive relationships with clients, contractors and key project stakeholders.
• Working collaboratively with senior engineers while continuing to develop your technical and project management skills.
• Ensuring quality outcomes while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety.

About you:

You're an enthusiastic Civil Engineer who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a collaborative team. You're looking for an environment where you'll continue to learn, gain greater project responsibility and develop your career within a consultancy.

You will ideally bring:

• 4-8 years' civil engineering experience gained within a contractor, consultancy or mixed environment.
• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Experience delivering transportation, roading, land development or three waters projects.
• New Zealand engineering experience, with consultancy experience highly regarded.
• A sound understanding of New Zealand engineering standards and construction practices.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build positive relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues.
• A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to continue developing professionally.
