Are you experienced in project, programme or portfolio management and enjoy improving how projects are delivered while enabling others to succeed?
We're looking for a Senior Advisor, Project Management Office (PMO) to help strengthen project delivery across Kaipara District Council. This role sits at the centre of how projects are planned, reported and delivered across Council, providing expert advice, improving frameworks and supporting leaders to make informed decisions.
This is a great opportunity to influence organisation-wide practice, work alongside senior leaders, and help shape and strengthen our PMO function, all while enjoying the flexibility of a permanent 32-hour working week.
What You'll Do
- Lead the ongoing improvement of PMO frameworks, tools and governance processes
- Partner with leaders and project teams to provide expert advice and support
- Drive portfolio reporting that enables strategic decision making
- Build organisational capability through coaching, guidance and best practice
- Champion continuous improvement and strengthen project delivery across Council
About You
- Proven PMO, project, programme or change management experience
- Strong understanding of governance, reporting, risk and delivery frameworks
- Skilled at building relationships and influencing across diverse stakeholder groups
- Able to simplify complex information into practical and actionable advice
- Confident supporting leaders and teams to lift project delivery maturity
