We're on the lookout for a Reticulation Serviceperson to join our team and help maintain the Manawatū reticulation network. If you enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about delivering top-quality services to our community, this role is for you!

This position requires the appointee to be on a standby roster.

About the role

• Conduct regular maintenance, monitoring and repairs on reticulation systems.
• Respond to service requests and emergency callouts.
• Assist with projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain high safety standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Keep accurate records and maintenance schedules.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

• 1 - 3 years' experience with water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation maintenance or a practical aptitude in mechanical and electrical skills
• A National Certificate in Water/Wastewater Reticulation (Level 3) or prepared to study towards this qualification
• Ability to work safely and independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Current full driver's licence
• Competent in the use of computers and office software
• Adaptability and a drive for continuous improvement

What we offer

The salary range is $60k- $73k. The salary offered will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
