Help Shape Stratford's Cultural and Environmental Future

The Stratford District Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested in serving as a Trustee of the Percy Thomson Trust for an appointment of up to three years.

The Percy Thomson Trust plays an important role in the community through the Percy Thomson Gallery, Percy Thomson Arboretum, and Percy Thomson Herbarium. As a Trustee, you will work alongside fellow Trustees to help guide the Trust's strategic direction and community impact.

• Governance and strategic planning
• Finance or accounting
• Legal practice
• Business management
• Marketing and communications
• Information technology
• Community engagement and development
• Arts, culture, heritage, or environmental management

We encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives who have a genuine interest in contributing to the Stratford community.

About the role

• Voluntary position
• Appointment for up to three years
• Opportunity to contribute to the governance of the Trust

Time commitment

Trustees are expected to attend regular Trust meetings and contribute to governance matters as required. The Trust currently meets monthly on Thursday afternoons, with additional reading and preparation required before meetings.
