Are you an experienced setter or jeweller who takes real pride in your bench work?

Sweeneys is looking for an experienced Setter / Jeweller to join our Auckland CBD workshop.

We provide jewellery repair and workshop services to the James Pascoe Group's network of more than 70 stores throughout New Zealand, so you will enjoy plenty of variety and interesting work.

Working alongside a team of approximately 12-14, you will bring strong skills in jewellery setting, repairs and general bench work, together with a positive attitude and pride in producing quality work.

We are looking for:

• Strong stone setting skills
• Jewellery repair and bench experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Pride in workmanship
• Administrative skills would be an advantage, but are not essential
• Reliability and a practical approach
• A positive attitude and willingness to help the wider team

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking to join an established jewellery workshop in the heart of Auckland.

Work hours are 7.30am- 4.00pm Monday - Friday.

The successful applicant will have access to staff buying privileges at Farmers, Whitcoulls, Stevens, Pascoes and Stewart Dawsons.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or residents, or hold a current New Zealand work visa.
