Manager - Stormwater, Flooding and Coastal
Whangarei District Council
Are you passionate about improving stormwater infrastructure and mitigating flood risks? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our team in managing stormwater assets and implementing effective flood prevention measures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team responsible for stormwater and flood prevention, including coastal flooding initiatives
· Oversee the operations, maintenance and development of stormwater infrastructure
· Develop and implement strategies to mitigate flood risks
Manage the customer response to stormwater issues
· Manage the Hikurangi Repo Flood Management Scheme
Qualifications:
· Strong technical expertise in stormwater management.
· Proven leadership skills.
· Commitment to improving stormwater infrastructure.
